Ephemera: Uke Girls! (c.1920)

I spy some early catalog ukes in here... a 1915-20ish Sears-sold mahogany uke like this guy that I just worked on but has more of a headstock shape like this one. The other uke reminds me of those "swept headstock" later-era Richters which were mostly birch vs. the nicer mahogany styles used before.

At any rate... yep, real people used this stuff when they were made! It's always nice to see these instruments in period settings... sort of a reality-check.
