c.1925 5-String "Bump" Banjo Case

I very rarely have truly desirable "accessories" come through the shop. This happens to be one, though -- an original '20s era "bump" banjo hardshell case -- so called because there's a "bump" for the 5th-string peg on the neck end of the case. This case is 100% original and is a solid, functional, vintage piece.

Note the arched-top construction for strength.

These cases are extra-desirable for higher-end vintage openback banjos -- Vegas, Langes, Weymanns, etc. -- and this one fits a standard 11" rim and 26-27" scale openback banjos just fine.

And even a '20s string with chenille.
